CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

Power Yoga: If you’ve ever wanted to fly then this is the class for you. Get to grips with arm balances and general inversions whilst learning safely in this challenging flow based practice. Led with a strong focus on the mechanics of inversions, expect a little handstand practice and some great tips on how to actually get upside down within your practice. Be prepared for a dynamic and sweaty flow that works the entire body, mind and soul. Open to all levels but do expect to practice some advanced yoga asana.

Shred Surf: The SHRED Surf workout method consists of cardio, core, balance and lean muscle building that is all performed on top of an unstable surfboard. Versatility of the different styles of classes are endless and easily modified for all athletic abilities. Shred Surf is all about keeping your body guessing! Low impact but high intensity, this workout will help you gain muscle strength, stamina, learn surf inspired moves, as well as bring a whole lot of fun in to your daily routine!

Boxing: Boxing is the perfect opportunity to test your jabs and hooks while also working up a serious sweat. This routine is a mixture of traditional boxing exercises using a professional punching bag & gloves integrated with a HIIT session (high intensity interval training). This class has stations where you will punch away any stresses of life while improving your general fitness.

Shred Switch: SHRED Switch is built on Puerto's highly popular SHRED 30 HIIT workout - but it comes with a twist! It's still a (HIIT) High-Intensity Interval Training style, full-body workout, but SHRED Switch utilizes a circuit training approach to get you shredded! SHRED Switch features up to 10 different stations which hit every muscle group, build your strength and challenge your cardio. On 1-minute intervals, shredders will rotate through each station to complete the SHRED Switch circuit. Stations will include functional training equipment such as medicine balls, TRX, jump rope, bosu balls, bands, boxing bags and more for a short - 45 minute - but intense workout experience. Shift to a new level of fitness and switch up your routine with SHRED Switch - exclusively at Casa de Olas. Prepare to sweat, get stronger and burn 500-750 calories. All levels welcome.

Shred Box Fit: Cardio boxing is the perfect opportunity to get your heart rate up and push your fitness. This routine is a mixture of traditional boxing exercises integrated into a HIIT session (high intensity interval training). Enjoy, let loose and punch away any stresses of life while improving your general fitness.

Yin & Meditation: If you love an extremely relaxing vibe but also need slightly more of a challenge physically Yin & Meditation is for you. Expect to hold a small amount of postures statically in this class and for enhanced periods of time to enable an extremely deep fascia tissue stretch. This calming practice will be set to a blissful playlist and will also offer you a complete meditation of the body, mind and soul. A short meditation or final Savasana will be offered at the end of the class setting you off blissfully on your way. A must for those seeking tranquility alongside stretching it all out.

Surfers Stretch Yoga: Stretch out and tone all of your surfing muscles so you can surf with more power and ease. Reduce chronic aches and pains that keep you from surfing your best while also healing and preventing injuries so you don't waste time out of the water. Surf better and for longer while feeling more fit, focused and fearless even in those heavy ocean conditions.

Hatha Flow Yoga: This class uses traditional postures in combination with breathwork and flow to develop flexibility, equilibrium, and strength. Hatha flow pays particular attention to proper alignment of the body in each pose, which brings balance, strength, and calmness to the practitioner. This practice also focuses on the deeper layers of yoga such as Pranayama breathwork allowing practitioners to create heat in the body to warm and energize the entire system. Our traditional Hatha Flow classes are based around classic and ancient practices. All levels welcome, especially good for beginners.
